Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup persimmon pulp
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease cookie sheets.
Mix first 4 ingredients well, then add remaining ingredients.
Drop by spoonful onto prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 15-18 minutes.
