I have been making these cookies since high school when an older cousin gave the receipe to my mom. They are awesome! Sometimes I had more chips or leave out the nuts but my favorite is adding maple flavoring in place of the vanilla and no chips but add pecans. Frost the same. It's a versitile receipe and fun to make. Makes great gift too.
