Ingredients
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 package M&Ms
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Blend eggs with soda, salt, water, vanilla, shortening. then add white & brown sugar stir.
Add flour and stir.
Mix in M&Ms.
Use tablespoon to drop dough on cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until light golden brown.
Serve with cold milk.

This recipe is amazing! Since moving to Colorado I have struggled to adjust cookies for the altitude. I tried this recipe substituting the shortening with butter but it tastes much better with the shortening! These will definitely be put out for Santa!
