Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 cups gum drops, cut up
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups oatmeal
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream shortening, margarine, and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and soda; mix well.
Stir in oatmeal and gun drops.
Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes.

We decided not to add any oatmeal but it was super good, once u bit into the gum drops the cookie kind of tastes like fruity pebbles. This cookie is a need for any Christmas party!!!
