Ingredients
1 pound (2 cups or 4 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
Directions
Preheat 350 degrees F.
Cream softened butter and sugar.
Add eggs & vanilla, mix until smooth.
Add flour slowly, mix till smooth.
Using a teaspoon, place small drops of dough on pan.
Flatten with a flat bottom glass dipped into milk.
Decorate cookies as desired.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges of cookies are brown, remove from pan immediately.

Great tasting cookie and very easy to make. The recipe makes a lot of cookies too which was perfect for a cookie exchange!

Simple but delicious! These have become a staple in our Christmas Cookie repertoire. They are quick and easy and last for quite a while. Easy for kids to help, too!
