Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour
1 handful oatmeal
1 heaping cup chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl, mix the butter, Crisco and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; stir.
Stir in 1 cup of flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in reaming flour, add oatmeal and chocolate chips. Stir well. Put little balls of cookie dough on cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes or until brown.
