Ingredients
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
2 Tablespoons milk
1 package chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine all ingredients except chocolate kisses.
Mix at low speed on mixer until dough will form into balls.
Shape into small balls using tip of teaspoon.
Place on ungreased tin, bake 10 minutes.
Upon removal from oven, top each cookie with a chocolate kiss.

Delicious i made this recipe without the Hershey's Kisses as some are allergic to the chocolate.Turned out wonderful tasty.Rolled to perfection.Contained ingredients that most people do have in their home.Very easy recipe.I would certainly give it the five stars it deserves.Cooked it a bit longer than the recipe states until they were golden brown.When removed from the oven the sugar sparkles on the top.Nice for the holidays
