Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking power
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease cookie sheets or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs & vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Add buttermilk and stir well.
Drop by tablespoon onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

needs work, dough is much to soft, something wrong, not enough flour? too low temp?
