These cookies are rich and delectable. This recipe comes from my dad, who loves to bake. I learned this recipe when I was seven years old. These cookies are also kid friendly. I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 sticks softened butter (1 cup)
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, stir flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat sugar, brown sugar and butter on medium speed until creamed.
Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Add flour mixture little by little, until incorporated.
Fold chocolate chips in with a rubber spatula.
Use ice cream scooper to roll dough into small balls, and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-12 mins.
