Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2 cups chocolate chips or M&M"s
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 13x9 cake pan.
Cream together first 7 ingredients.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Spread batter evenly in pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.

I have made this recipe every year since finding it on your site. They are absolutely delicious and easy to make. I use whatever M & Ms that are in season. Have a package of red and green - ready to bake. I don't use nuts.
