Ingredients
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
2 (20 ounce) packages, prepared chocolate chip cookie dough, one should be frozen for 1/2 hour before use
sprinkle confectioner's sugar (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Press one package of cookie dough onto the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch backing pan.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
Pour the cheese mixture over the cookie dough.
Slice the 2nd cookie dough package into 1/4 inch rounds. Flatten with your hands. Place on top of the filling, covering as much as you can (you don't have to cover the entire surface).
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
Let cool completely, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour before cutting.
