Recipe Details

Bake Time:
10 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar
1 package soda crackers

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease a cookie sheet.

  3. Line it with soda crackers.

  4. Melt 1 cup butter together with brown sugar.

  5. Bring to a boil, then boil and stir for 5 minutes.

  6. Pour over crackers.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes.

  8. While warm, sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips on top and spread.

  9. Chill - then break into pieces. (Freezes well)

This also is good for my little ones, last year they asked to leave some out for the elves, how sweet. It's quick and easy and its delicious.

This one is the best. I made it and took it to work a few years ago and now my co-workers beg me to make it for them. I added a little crushed peppermint candy to it and that turned out well also.
